mr_angry's Journal: Please calm down

I'm tired of people thinking the car horn is a magical device making all the traffic disappear.

If you drive downtown, you have to expect crazyness and expect to get stuck all the time in traffic. Please stop it, i'd like to be able to listen to my walkman when i'm going to work... Take the bus, the subway, the train or a taxi if you can't stand traffic.

I'm pretty pissed today. I'm really exasperated about people at work doing what they shouldn't do : not work. Spending an hour on the phone with a friend, then an hour on msn, then an hour reading the news. Whee you just wasted half of your day.

Half of the people seem to work at least. Some of them work hard, like i think i do. No time for browsing slashdot at work, or slacking on the phone or taking half an hour to get a coffee.

I mean, it's normal to get interrupted in your day of work. But when at the end of the week you've done about 15 hours of work, something's wrong.

I just read on the web that the crisis going on in the usa about the floods is getting worse. Worse because some dumbasses can't behave and there's fights all the time. Way to go people! NOT! Calm down. I went thru a crisis some years ago, no electricity for two weeks. We left the city for a while until things were well. There was no fighting anywhere.

It's probably not on the same scale but still...

please calm down.

This post made me feel better now. I'm almost calm now.

A final thought is : get creative. If everybody did something creative, i'm sure everybody would be calmer. Draw, sing, dance, make music, code, film, write, etc...

I guess this was a boring post after all, but they can't all be fun, i guess...

Didn't mean to insult my one and only reader (as far as i know).

But you know, sometimes i wonder why i work my ass off while other people at my office spend half their days on msn...

But again, you might know by now that i'm not very tolerant...

I just checked out some of the pics on your webpage. Hmm icy rain! I almost miss icy rain.

Yeah, I get that whole thing about co-workers slacking off. Sometimes it's me slacking off, other times I work hard and get annoyed at others.
