Comment Re: How can we blame this on AI? (Score 1) 39

There is undeniable logic in that removing all humans solves all human problems.

When machines can sustain a machine economy and population, human mortality and existence will have an interesting mirror. At that point, the machine intelligence will likely already exist in its own unfathomable reality.

It is more than likely that many humans will also want to become machines. Some may even want to become vomit machines. The cycle is complete.

Optimally, there should be a credit based system that counts seconds or so. Per program pay is probably more realistic though.

It is a waste to pay for total availability, when the real use can be much less, and 99% of the content is uninteresting.

Logically if you were to watch everything 24/7 you would pay the full price.

It is possible to list a myriad of reasons for the population decline, and therein lies the answer, too. The more freedom people have, the fewer people choose to have children. There is no magic bullet to fix it without dismantling a free society. Reduced population growth is a feature of a more advanced human civilisation.

The decline of the world population is inevitable, and it would be wise to prepare for that while providing support structures for children too.

Countries will end up competing for immigrants. My kind wish is that nationalism would start to crumble, but it might not be pretty.

It is like any other social media. After muting words and accounts you do not want to see and with active curation of the timeline, the content can be rather nice and center on your interests.

Besides, the default Bluesky is only one implementation of the base protocol and it can be forked into oblivion.

Feels like people who complain about the content on social media simply have low agency.
