Some other homebrewers I know are considering stocking up on hops to ride out whatever shortages may come. I'm currently sitting on at least 3-4 lbs., which should last a while (used at 2-4 oz. in the typical batch, depending on the recipe). They're all either nitrogen-flushed or vacuum-packed, and they're taking up the bottom half of my freezer, so they won't deteriorate. (It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to check levels on different varieties anyway, now that I think about it...I might be running low
