Journal janeowit's Journal: Fiber Optic Failure 7
Whew! I had a medicinal agents exam at this morning at 8 am and one in pharmacotherapy at 10:10. And with two more coming up, it's no wonder I have an average of 2.3 exams per week. I have to go watch three hours of pharmacology to get ready for Wednesday, two of which I was actually there, but couldn't pay attention no matter how hard I tried. So I have just enough time to share with you some beautiful lyrics I had every intention of typing up anyway. It's short so just read it for once, please?
You're halfway across the country, you might as well be halfway around the world.
We're connected by a wire of coiled copper, and it stretches halfway around the world.
I don't think you have to worry, lines won't fall down. They're all buried underground.
Don't fear fiber optic failure or a bad connection, cause our wires are too tightly wound.
Under willows, under pines, we're connected, we're entwined.
Under rivers, under seas, flows a current from you to me.

*If you want to get all technical about it, he's been talking about the annoying things about tracking the new cd recently, which will probably have this song on it. So I bet it has been recorded, it just won't be released for another couple months.

Actually this isn't the "I had to leave the room" song, I have those lyrics written down somewhere, but without the music it's really hard to get that it is, in fact, a good song and not a poorly told recollection of a fever dream. But I'll probably post it anyway.
P.S. You heard this song. It was right after "Prairie Flowers (you know, in the backyard)".
