It's especially hilarious to me that, Trump having torn through every wing of government fucking it up and making sure they can't do the job, destroying all data monitoring capacity/ability to parse collected data, yet here's this leftover initiative from The Before Time causing this big kerfluffle as though it matters. And then, read the zeitgeist, without people to do the job they'll give it to an AI, and the whole system becomes a different game, one they don't know how to play.
Anyway the obvious final fate of the Flock camera is that the police notice they're getting caught all the time doing illegal shit by their own cameras, make some announcement about how they haven't improved policing, and the problem goes away. Or maybe they all develop convenient glitches during abuse situations like the body cameras.
