I demand that you have heard of me! But i didn't sign a deal, so you've never heard of me; and if i've not signed a deal, how are you gonna hear about me anyway? tiktok? spotify algorithms? fucking youtube? you think google, or the guy giving money to military AI development, or china deserves a portion of my money instead of the record label scumbags, who might at least put some man hours into promotion?

Or do you think every musician should also be obligated to be their own record company, performing all the roles it used to take a team to do? Gonna blahblahblah about the modern tools available like they work, right? lol. go try em, you'll find out.

Nobody listens to anybody else any more anyway though, be it musicians or scientist whistleblowers or government employees crying foul, everybody's only always ever on their own side, so fuck it, make your own new music. Don't expect any help from me when your sector goes down in flames later.

because once you've extracted a majority of the resources available in a society, everyone starts to not be able to afford stuff and the whole structure starts to collapse, but that money is THEIRS god damn it so they're not going to just spend it or something like money is intended for, nonono, they want it to continue to be theirs somehow, as per their god given right to absolutely refuse to do things right.

Ergo, they want to open up the Company Store again. Full circle back to it, because that's what capitalism really is, nothing but lying and theft in the end. No, another money system is not the solution, and yes, it's a form of regulatory capture.

you really think that's true, when it's a targetted pattern aimed at doing damage which repeats across cases? Like if mistakes of this sort happen literally all the time, what category does that put it in? If all professionals conduct themselves this way - pin the tail on the donkey, essentially - and it's not a professional conduct problem, then what is it?

It's probably literally part of their marketing cycle at this point, they'd be fools not to include it because it's so predictable and reliable.

It's kinda just building hype the littledick way.
