I recently bought the dnd 5e books to introduce my kids to the game. Last i owned was 2e. Every useful reference page - every page where, once you understood the game, you could go for a table of condensed information - that's gone. Not one in three books. The index is greatly reduced as well, nearly to the point of uselessness. Honestly it's embarrassing.
