grub's Journal: Trolling, trolling, trolling...

I felt like trolling today so I wrote a thinly veiled "Open Source == Communism == Good" troll

Not my best but in the limited time one has to get an early post it's not bad.

Oh, if you wonder about the MD5 hashes at the end of one of my trolls it's to separate me from others.

ie:in the link above:
MD5 ("grub whatswrongwithos") = c39052b261506f846895cac6e0724290 :))

Is there a way to search for comments containing

a certian text string (like your md5 hash)?

I'm doing a quick page of my trollshere [grub.net] but it's far far far from complete. Only the past few I've saved locally unfortunately. On that page there is the text I've used to generate the MD5 hash. All it does really is prove that I wrote what I say I wrote. If it isn't on that page, it isn't authentic GrubTroll(tm) :)

Nope, just this one. This account seems to have been ModSlapped though, I've been unable to mod in ~8 months or more. I'll continue to use this account though, wimping out to get mod points is Teh Ghey.

I love the "Open Source as communism" business model/troll. It really pushes the buttons of all the hardcore anti-MS/pro-FSF weenies out there. I mean, I love free software as much as the next dude but, seriously people, it's difficult, if near impossible to turn a profit from something that you are basically giving away.
