As an EV owner, I don't object in principle, but there is no information as to how mileage is going to be assessed. I *think* I do about 2-3 thousand miles per year - mostly 20 mile shopping trips, but it's very unpredictable, and depends a lot on the weather for short holiday breaks.

I can't touch type, yet can already keyboard peck much faster than I can think, of what to type. Oh, and with fewer mistakes than I see from touch typists.

It's way above my 'pay grade' but I wish them the very best. I'm sick of multinationals slurping up everything they can get hold of and giving absolutely nothing away.

So what happens when (not if) everyone has become dependent on this and there's a break in the network somewhere.

This could have been solved decades ago. I remember a TV science program in the middle 1960s where the fitted vertically polarised filters to a cars headlights and horizontally polarised one to a windscreen mock up. Through this you could clearly see everything the car was illuminating, but it's lights looked very dim.

That's what this reminds me of, and if attempted would almost certainly end the same way - actually, no. It wouldn't end as well as this :(

These connection 'standards' are like London Buses. You wait ages for one, then three come along together - but never hang around long enough for you to make an informed decision as to which one to use.

Why were they excluded. Here in the UK They have mostly already been replaced with LED ones - designed to be a plugin replace for older light assemblies. New lights are made with LED units by default.

Totally contrary to what's wanted (as usual) :( The project I work with has multiple resizable windows, that also remember the size and position they were last used. All windows give real information in the title bar (including which instance of the software it's from). Our users can set things up exactly as they want... provided some self opinionated twat hasn't screwed up the windowing system - yet again!

The poor guy has a millstone round his neck for the rest of his life. I just hope Nintendo goes bankrupt before he as to pay too much.

There is no shortage of Countries and/or individuals who would like to see the Guardian silenced. Whatever the truth is, we will never know, however it seems the running of the paper has not been obstructed.
