That assumes the worker has the resources to turn down bad bargains -- all these fair market arguments about wages have they same false assumption -- that the employee is am an equal bargaining position as the employer.
That false assumption can easily be shown: what happens to most employers if they have an unfilled position for a year? vs. what happens to most employees if they are unemployed for a year?
