Journal eno2001's Journal: POLITICS: I'm Thinking of Taking a Side 4
For the longest time I've expressed how much I hate politics. How much I believe they intrude on everyone's day-to-day life by forcing us to pay attention lest we be screwed without know it. I've always seen politics as a huge waste of time. I can safely say that politics have always appeared to me to be related to life in the same way that fluff is related to a college term paper. They simply get in the way of actually getting anything done. But today, I concede that I may have been wrong in that thinking. It seems clear to me now that politics are a core part of human thinking and without them there is actually little we can accomplish. All of our greatest and most noble achievements happened thanks to politics. Gravity? Political. The discovery of electricity? Political. The theory of relativity? Political. In each case, the only thing that drove the minds of those great men and women was the political climate of the day.
In stating that, I have to say that I've analyzed my options carefully and am forming an opinion as to which political stripe fits me the best. I've always preferred to play Devil's Advocate in most situations which has at times caused people to label me a "liberal". No matter how much I've protested that assignment, people have persisted. At the same time, I've spent a lot of effort trying to get people to see the wisdom of conservative thinking by presenting a lot of "modest propositions". I think those have largely been misinterpreted as being "anti-conservative" by a lot of folks. And of course, there's the lunatic fringe libertarians. I don't like them. Not one bit. Sure I believe in freedom. But with limits. Bounds. Controls. Checks and balances against the stupidity that is a human being. So of the three possibilities, I have finally chosen a side to represent. I choose the Republican party because they are the party of values with men of integrity. There. I've said it. And now I march on to battle.
Starting today, you will see a new eno2000. I will finally express what I've always believed: we are a Christian nation and we have fallen away from the reason that the found fathers created this great union. You can see that we've let the slimy liberals go too far. They control the media fully. Look at the filth that is on television. The blatant celebration of adultery, idolatry, and immorality is just appalling. When I read my bible, and I read about how the sinners in Sodom and Gommorah acted, I simply see Hollywood, liberals and the sexual swine of the internet. Have you ever seen what kind of obscenity is available on the internet? I believe that the internet will bring about the fall of the American empire if we don't reclaim this land for the lord. We all know about Goatse, but that is tame by comparison. Did you know that there are Tantric "Goddess" sites where men can pay to worship these prostitutes and peform sinful sexual acts on these women? What kind of moral leadership lets this kind of thing happen? Men paying women for the "privelege" of serving them?
And then there are the "liberated christian" sites. These lions in sheep's clothing pretend to be godly christians who have liberated their sex lives! The only thing that these people have liberated is the sins of satan into their lives and they must repent! The unbelievably disgusting things they do with themselves and others are direct one way tickets to the lake of fire. "Wife worship", swinging, polyamory, cuckoldry and the use of marital aids! These people are pure scum. The lowest of the low. They will all pay dearly on judgement day. Unless we take up the sword and the sheild and save their souls. We need to teach them that sex is not and never has been for pleasure! It is purely for the bringing of life into this world to glorify our Christian nation. If they do not heed our message, then they should be made fully aware that they will perish for all eternity. And they need to hear that message every day. On the radio. On television. On the internet. In their e-mail. On Slashdot even!!!
Thanks goodness that we have the moral leadership of the Republican party and George W. Bush who bases the law of the land on the word of the one true god. The Christian god.
Oh yeah and... happy April Fool/Crazy Day to those of you on the other side of the dateline!!!
