Your definition of "decent people" seems quite narrow, focusing on specific types of community involvement (volunteer work, church, neighborhood gatherings). The dating landscape is complex, and individual circumstances, preferences, and even luck play a part. Previous generations also had their own distractions and preferred modes of socializing.

DEI is not about competition. I've seen instances where great employees have lost their jobs due to factors like diversity quotas and workplace pressures related to reverse discrimination. In some cases, people may feel unable to speak up about unfair treatment due to confidentiality agreements or legal limitations. It's concerning when these situations occur, especially in workplaces that prioritize mental health. I'm about diversity but now it seems we're at a stage where DEI sometimes means "Did not Earn It"
