Question : No, there is no thermal data under Linux. However I have an external temperature sensor built into my case. My OEM heat sink has never been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. More than that, I cannot say. The relevant question would be what the temperature sensors say when I am installing Windows XP, but since that is impossible to find out since there is no interface for reading temp sensors from the windows installer, it is a very bad question. Do you have anything relevant to ask me, or are you going to continue stalling?
Answer - 868849
Answer : Are the temperatures reading off and what are they being read as?

Question : No, but it works just fine (everything works but thermal sensors... why do you guys keep having to go nonstandard on sensor chips?) under Ubuntu Karmic. I don't have Windows Vista or Windows 7, nor do I have any plans to purchase them.

Question : I think it's pretty clear that there is no error message on a black screen. How many times are you going to ask me questions you can answer yourself by reading what I have already written? I tried the install about five times with precisely the same result every time. If you ask me a new question, I will try to answer it. I am getting the idea that you have no idea what is happening, and are stalling for time for a new BIOS release or similar.
Answer - 867997
Answer : What error message did you received?
Does it indicate pci.sys error message?
