We're already seeing this in the consumer/prosumer drone market after they banned imports of the next releases of drones in December of last year. The US drones cost at least five times as much, are half as good, and require an additionally expensive service plan to keep them running. I'm not exaggerating. So I guess get ready for $7,500.00 mediocre laptops that aren't available to the general public anyway. Oh, and did I mention that there are already pay-to-play loopholes allowing imported parts for these supposed US made drones? Expecting more of the same for these PCs.

So this is the same thing they did with all foreign made drones but not the same as Tiktok because Tiktok is paying a 10 billion dollar bribe to stay in existence. Surprise level zero. I wonder what's next.

You mean the part where the government tries to eliminate a superior and safer product in an effort to boost a substandard domestic competitor who's owners have been pumping tons of lobbying money into the system? The same government who bases that elimination on unsubstantiated security claims? Yes, I'm familiar.

Then they'd have to ban every other competitor to DJI too, as none of them force restricted airspace and never have. For the last 10 years DJI was the only manufacturer making it almost impossible to fly in restricted airspace.

It's always been my conspiracy theory that Spotify's non-random shuffle is a way for them to pay fewer royalties. The shuffle features the least expensive songs and thus pays less in royalties unless the entire playlist finishes.
