I'll give you a good example.

I was talking with friends...and all of us have decent jobs, decent earnings with disposable income.

We would pay top dollar if Jeep, made....well, a Jeep again.

I'm talking bare bones...100% mechanical....something like a CJ7 type thing...easy to work on, no computers, just something simple and mechanical that you could mod as you wished....and could drive through the woods, and do 4 wheeling stuff.

I don't need a fucking backup camera or ABS brakes, etc....

I'd pay EXTRA to have a simpler vehicle like we used to in the 70's.

Are there some modern things better that could go in there..sure...technology has improved but I'd draw the line at least and keeping things non-computer controlled.

Make a simple jeep and I swear there would be a market for it yelling the trope: PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY

Did anyone else cringe at least a bit when reading this quote in the article:

The car is now a computing surface.

Am I the ONLY one that does NOT want more computing and more connectivity and more monitoring in my fscking car?!?!

Thankfully my slightly older car is low mileage and in great shape, so hoping I don't have to buy another any time soon....but geez, next one I do will take tons of research and then figuring out how to rip out most of the "phone home" and other tech I don't want annoying me, tracking me or limiting me on how/where I want to drive...

Btw, being Nazi does not only mean sending Jews to the camp.

The reality is that a Nazi person mentality is characterized by extreme nationalism, belief in racial superiority, and a totalitarian approach to governance, often involving anti-Semitism and the rejection of liberal democracy.

Is that hitting too close to home?

Ouch...yes, that does certainly sound a lot like some of the far far left progressive democrats these days in the US....

Yes, and with DST in the dead of winter, dawn in Boston won't happen until 8 AM. Full on daylight won't be until about 9 AM.

All it will take is one cycle of DST during winter, and everyone will clamor for either going back to the semi-annual shifting, or Standard Time. That's what happened last time this misguided experiment was actually tried.

And most of the rest of the country says...

"Fuck Boston"...
