Make a suggestion and that is to sit across a desk from these candidates during their interview process while asking such revealing questions as:
1. What are your expectations for the working environment?
2. How do you expect the company to gauge your success?

#2 is the most revealing...and scary.

What profits...what losses...do you even know what you are saying? This is a government agency so those "things" don't exist. Is it even possible for you to see something beyond the prism of socialism is good and capitalism is bad? Look NASA and it's old school contractors have wasted more money than we can even imagine with very little to show for it. It is time for a shake up because right now SpaceX is leaps and bounds in front of Nasa and Boeing when it comes to delivering and costs which are all good.

I moved to Obsidian because they had a nice import process from Evernote. The UI is not as user-friendly in my opinion, but it does the job. The one item that nags me is the searching feature. It returns all hits within documents as well as the document itself so the results are pretty busy, but I am betting I can change the results to only return a reference to the page itself.
