damn_registrars's Journal: Which side of the abortion debate is racist again?

My current job has me driving quite a bit; on the order of around 25,000 miles annually. I get a lot of time to myself to think while I'm driving, and I see a lot of billboards. I noticed something a while ago about all the anti-abortion billboards though, that I have yet to see an exception to.

Every one of those billboards feature beautiful white babies. Not once have I seen a non-white baby on them. Not once have I seen a kid who was missing a limb, or was disabled in any obvious way. I haven't even seen a kid with a birthmark. Heck, some of them already have teeth.

If anyone reads this, there is a chance someone might point out that of course you can't tell the race of a baby via sonogram. That is of course true, however very few billboards use sonograms any more - the overwhelming majority are pictures taken of kids well after having been born.

So if abortions are being weaponized by "the left" to reduce the African American population, why aren't there any black babies on the anti-abortion billboards? Why aren't those people trying to discourage non-white people from terminating their pregnancies?
