They don't want you to know about this so you never remember what it's like to not have 50 $5.99 charges per week for services you forgot about or can't cancel because they don't want you to.
I've had fraudulent charges move from a compromised card to the new card because of this super awesome feature.
Yes. This is allowed due to 1) broad interpretation of terms of service that everyone accepts and 2) allowing the government access to third party data without warrant which Snowden warned us about.
Why bother with judges and courts and warrants when you can just send a signal or telegram message to a third party and get anything you want? The third party loves it because then they can take credit for takedowns or assisting authorities which increases the revenue for the security products they sell using this same data.
It's way worse than you can possibly imagine.
I think this is the eventual result. The moment you upload or create a piece of digital information while "legally" you might have rights to it but the reality is you immediately lose all control of that digital content once it's public.
All digital content.
This potential shows how dramatically impactful AI can and likely will become to every aspect of our society.
No more ownership of the rights of content. Not guaranteed income just because you created the content. Imagine what this means for those that rely on that money and the follow on distribution rights and proceeds.
Think about all the people in the process of writing a movie script to being shown in theaters. Thousands, maybe tens of thousands of people.
We will see, in a short period of time, blockbuster movies, top music hits, and highly acclaimed art generated 100% by AI. Accept it. This is the end game. You can't do anything about it.
With offline models that can now run on a single high end gaming GPU the jig is up. It's only a matter of time.
Getty users sitting here confused that they signed all their rights away for the content when they checked the "I agree" box.
Did you all read what I read? They're saying they're going to listen to everything that goes over voice chat, transcribe it to text data, and then make behavioral predictions based on what is said.
Does no one else see some massive potential for abuse here?
Yea... I wonder which high profile politician was going to be charged with drug and sexual offenses.
It was over the moment reddit threatened the mods' fiefdoms by banning them if they didn't reopen.
The idea of losing the control of their communities was more important to them than the protest.
Reddit was right from the beginning "this will pass like the others did".
do onto others as other do onto you.
It's impossible to stop all forms of memory corruption in our current systems. The focus of the security industry is no longer on prevention of attacks but on the tracking of what other systems the attacker has accessed as well as then the overall cleanup from a breach.
You're going to get popped, it's just a matter of when and how bad.
I'd rather have too much LoTR than more marvel and DC.
Super heroes are boring af now. Maybe the new Deadpool will help.
We decided it applies to everyone expect the people that are angry.
Thanks Netflix lol.
Don't try it again.
As a person that loved early phases of marvel I can say unequivocally that super hero movies are no longer interesting.
Most of phase 4 has been trash. I might go see gotg4.
Where's their product and why isn't it in every news article about AI right now?
Also, why hasn't Microsoft pledged to invest billions in their products?
Butthurt and jelly.
Put up or shut up.
These look super cool.
Also, it's popular to be butthurt about AI but the singularity has occurred and AI is going to take over massive parts of our lives beyond anything you can imagine and it's going to happen in the course of a few years wether you like it or not.
Do not become the new generation of luddites because you will be left in the dust as they were.
Embrace the suck, learn to love AI.
