Which is stuipid, since there is a gate a half my from my house that delivery can't go through, so no delivery service can make it to my house. They could leave it at the gate and hope I get to it before the critters do, but if I have to travel a half mile to get my food, I might as well travel all the was to the restaurant, don't you think? I also keep yelling at my daughter for using Doordash (since I'm paying for her food), although she claims she usually picks it up herself instead of paying someone $10 to deliver it.

Likewise, when somebody claimed on Facebook that I was impersonating myself, I had to send Facebook a copy of my driver's license (which they misread, since it was last name first, and changed my Facebook ID to lastname firstname middle name). So it would be trivially easy to solicit job applications and collect DL scans.

You're not the target audience. The companies getting tired of paying $50K for tokens are the target audience. Believe me, the hardware cost is trivial compared to how much the AI companies are raping businesses for.

You are correct, like all the tech bubbles, there will be a few companies that survive the bubble pop and go on to become the next Microsoft. But 95% of them are destined for bankruptcy. AI has non-zero market value, we just haven't really figured out what that value is.

NO company should be allowed to be "too big too fail". If you're too big to fail, then immediate antitrust breakup of your company should be mandatory. Are the people implementing the circular finance scheme creating the bubble expecting to get rich on the government bailout? Absolutely! They assume if the government spent tax dollars to cover the billionaire's losses before, they will do it again. I'm sticking to my original strategy: don't invest anything in crypto or AI.

I agree with both of ya, I would never intentionally go swimming with a phone regardless of the IP rating. But the 2 second water immersion that shorted out my Pixel 5 was an ACCIDENT, not a test of the IP rating, and it's kind of disappointing that it completely filled the case with water in a couple seconds, and that afterwards I could watch the water dripping back out. Like I said, there was no seal, just a gap in the case..
