All relevant parts of Chrome, JavaScript and HTML engines, plugin architecture, etc are open source. Additionally Chrome has far fewer proprietary extensions then IE ever had. It's just that Edge still does not support basic stuff like Formdata.

I just tried your software for Linux, it does nothing that cannot be done with a few shell scripts. If you went through the trouble GUI make the most of the interface, provide documentation and make it intuitive. Perhaps the most common use case could be turned into a wizard and the documentation should be rewritten in clear non preachy-ranty prose.

I've long since switched to Chrome, It seems Firefox abandoned Linux user years ago, from dropping flash support to not implementing a proper sandbox to broken GPU acceleration its clear Linux is not a priority for Firefox.

Linux has moved to encrypted binary log files[1], unfortunately, a vocal minority of older system admins and developers refuse to see the necessity of this feature.

The Fedora upgrade process creates a temporary entry in grub to load an upgrade OS that upgrades your normal OS.
Dual booting most modern version of Windows works.(With the exception of Windows NT 5 and 2000 b/c of file system incompatibilities)
Windows fully supports loading Linux from it's boot manger, although most users use grub instead.
