That's funny. My Linux box is plugged into a powered HDMI splitter. If I turned the box off, the chasis fan continues to run. If I pulled the HDMI cable out, the chasis fan stop spinning. I should try that on my FreeNAS box and see if HDMI can power seven chasis fans.

I keep telling you that I only have one account: cdreimer. I would have to be an idiot to create an easy to find sock puppet account with one letter difference, ruin my DMCA takedown reputation by copying and pasting (sound familiar) The New York Times article into a comment, and then using other sock puppet accounts to mod up the comment to 5 Informative. That's something my ONE AND ONLY TROLL would do. It's not like he has anything better to do with his time.

Considering what colleges charges for an education these days, it wouldn't surprise me if some students transfer to a more affordable college. Or one with a better beer scene.
