You are technically right, but here is the thing, people from the US are not exectly famous for knowing much about thing happening outside the US, ok there are ofc exceptions (WW1, WW2, the cold war and aby war they started) can you see any commonalities, that is correct All of this ecaples involved People from the os in one way or another. What People from the US seam to wave missed are thing that did not involve them directly ie no us boots on the ground. So the point of the " their own history" comment was probably to underline the fact that people educated in the US should definitely know about a scandal involving only the US that so happened to force the resignation of one of their recent -ish precedents. Yea here is what i don't get, businesses the use @aol, @gmail etc addreses, liik a domain is cheap, mail hosting for sauid domain is cheap and person@comany.com (example) looks way more professional than randomname2535@gmail.com gmail at all just looks to me like "I'm to cheap to get a decent domain and mail hosting" bou ok I'm a geek, this probably flies under the radar of most, I mean the number of businesses that seam to only exsist on social media (ie no traditional website) is a bit scary sometimes. Don't get me wrong having a social media presence is probably more or less required today, what i question is places that only seam to exist on bldy factbook

What am I missing here?
