I'm doing SwiftUI app development and upgraded one of my test devices to iOS 26 beta 4 this morning.
I don't see anything different, but I assume something different is happening under the hood.

Losing the role as a major international trading currency is the ONLY way to ever fix US trade imbalance, it was only possible because the rest of the world needed more and more dollars for US-external trade, once that is gone, there is no growing external need for US dollars, and the trade "imbalance" will fix itself by making everything more expensive for US customers.
To stall. This means Trumps stupidity tax will hit them later, which gives them time to make deals with other countries. At least that is what the EU is doing

Where I live (Kamloops, BC, Canada) the all-time high temperature record for a long time was 42C, set in July 1941. Most of southern B.C. set records that month. No air conditioning. Ugh! We demolished that record when it hit 47C in June 2021. I've never been so hot in my life...
The hottest we've been so far this summer was 36C. I expect to hit the Big Four Oh at least once, but the long-term forecast isn't promising.

New innovative ways of losing money. It is a speculative bubble until it makes a profit. Some a going to win the lottery, but most are going to lose. So far only the shovelsalesman (nvidia) is making money on AI.
I would say in more complex games, especially if we are talking single player, there is also a lot of from for roleplaying.
Hackathons are social events not competitions. The announcement of a winner is just something to end the event o, that most people don't even attend

Way behind in the buble means less of a bust. Besides there is nothing to behind on all the AI tech is open source and companies are only competing to waste the most money

You can bend fiber without tools, you can't bend cheap stiff fiber without tools. Usually you use cheap stiff fiber that is more durable and less desirably to thieves when laying it outdoors, but you can use softer and more usable/desirable fiber in the walls inside a house. But yeah, I wouldn't use them any further than a router either.
Unless they are spectre attacks against the gpu, not the cpu. In which case they are only needed if you allow GPU compute jobs over the internet.
A hybrid is the answer for many people. They work well. Electric continues to improve but is still too much of a niche product.
I recently bought a new car. If I could lay my hands on something like a RAV4 Hybrid I'd be all over it. Good luck. I bought a VW Taos instead.

How long does it take a DEC field service engineer to change a lightbulb? It depends on how many bad ones he brought with him.
