    I tried the one thats made out of grapes but didn't like it, I forget the name.

    Currently on a Tequila kick.
    Bought a case of Cabo Resopado a few months ago. should be done with it by the end of the year. Love them Blue Bottles.

      I go nucking futz drinking that stuff man... surprised my tequila enhanced nights out never landed me in jail. Thus, the most tequila I *ever* drink nowadays is in a single margarita.

    • Grey Goose is great. Someone told me that most American (US, Canadian, etc.) vodkas were no longer made from potatoes. Don't know if that's true or not, but I had some Russian vodka (as in, some Russian guys brought it over with them and invited me to drink with them) in college and it was really good. It was more potent and seemed to be a little thicker than what I am used to. It was definitely made from potatoes.

        I don't collect beer bottles. a buddy of mine collects caps though.

      Pah. You and your crappy vodkas. If you want decent vodka, then you need to avoid high street brands. Look for some Wyborova [polishvodka.com.pl] or Zubrowka [zubrowka.net]. While some of the flavoured ones are nice (such as the Wyborowa plum), you're best off sticking with the original plain spirit. If you can find any, the Wyborowa 50% is probably my favourite vodka, but I haven't seen any for sale in years. If you're in London, then Gerry'

        Some things they don't carry everywhere, but thanks for the heads up.

        As for crappyness. couldn't agree or disagree. All I can say is out of the Vodka Barrel or two that I have drank in my life those are the ones I've enjoyed and went back to.

        • I might add that Vodka isn't my favorite spirit.
          I'm always on the hunt for a good Highland malt if you have any suggestions. I don't like Islay, the peat puts me off.

            Nope, I'm afraid not. I've never been keen on whisky. It always tastes kind of sickly to me. Vodka really is my drink of choice (crappy brands aside :-) If you can get hold of either of the two I suggested, it's well worth it. You should be able to taste the difference. You should also be able to smell it. Good vodka has a slightly sweet smell. But maybe it's just that my Polish ancestry gives me a bias towards vodka...

          • I tend to like Islays, particularly Laphroaig. I had a couple of nice single-malts earlier this year at a Johnnie Walker marketing function. I don't remember the names, but I'll post them if I can find the bruchure that they handed out.
