I guess we need fuel cycles which are less able to breed plutonium. By the way, one of the bombs dropped on Japan was an enriched uranium bomb, that just needs enrichment facilities. Fast breeder reactors wouldn't build up plutonium in them. A Thorium fuel cycle would also prevent build up of plutonium.

China's current rule can be compared to Mao Zedong's era. During that era they wanted to become the world's largest producer of iron. To achieve that, every school had a smelter in the back. People would be melting their cookware, and anything else they could found. It worked, but at what cost? My point is that the centrally planned economy frequently has these mandates. The quality of the results is probably lacking.

Maybe this automation issue is what is drawing out the UAW strike. It was part of the writer's strike. One of my professors automated a task in a steel plant. Later he went back to see how it was going, and noticed it was still being done by a person. He asked about that, and they said there was nothing wrong with his work, they were just waiting for the union guy to retire.

And the definition of 'behave' can be changed at their whim.

That's when you need to do this. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/w... Show that you're not feeling subservient, and make them the ones that are uncomfortable.
