And yet, they have nuclear weapons somehow.
I think that the biggest concern is that an un-aligned AI is used by bad actors to develop a biological agent that is able to wipe out large portions of the population.
Presumably, cases are audited and tied to performance.
Hey, John, looks like you have 1000 unsolved cases here, what's going on?
No, that would be an auditing middleware layer within the local PD.
Once you progress through that layer, then it would allow access to the Flock data.
Sort of like the North shore of lake Superior. It's quite cool year-round, often -20F compared to inland.
How many cases of AI hallucination are going uncaught?
We know how prosecutors and law enforcement can get tunnel vision when dialing in on someone they want to be guilty.
It would be very easy for AI hallucinated details that fit the narrative to pass muster or go unnoticed all the way through to a conviction, at which point it's too late.

Modern smart phones seem to be pretty resilient to drops.
I had a Pixel 6 for the full supported lifetime and dropped that thing countless times on all kinds of different surfaces, at different angles and varying heights. I traded it back in for full value when I got the Pixel 10, which I have already dropped several times without damage.
And lifted the name from Microsoft. https://news.microsoft.com/sur...
I would like a folding phone if it actually made the phone smaller and not larger/thicker.
It seems like the market for folding phones is similar to the market for pickup trucks. The small and mid-range have been completely removed and all we are left with is the choice between big, bigger and enormous.
Oh, you mean the Roboform that was basing it's password generation off of the system time?

It's funny, I still have yet to need to replace the battery in my old e-series SoniCare. I still take that thing on vacation without a charger and it lasts at least a week. Though finding replacement heads has moved to an online-only affair.
I have the battery one, works like a charm and is a lot smaller.
Though, really, between flossing, brushing and rinsing with diluted H2O2 (1:1), I have found that I don't really need to use the waterpik all that often.
