I debated about whether or not I should write this, but I like to think that I can share everything with you guys...

It was a day I didn't expect to come, at least not as soon as it did. I guess it was peer pressure that finally did me in. All my friends were doing it on a regular basis, and nothing bad was happening to them... and of course they were telling me how much they enjoyed and how great it was. I was still not convinced, but then I talked to this female friend of mine that I had this huge crush on, and she'd never done it either. We talked about it, and decided we would try it together, since it would be less intimidating with someone who had also never done it before.

We arranged the time and place and all that. As the time approached, I grew more and more nervous. What if, when it was time, I really didn't want to go through with it. Would she hate me if I backed out? Or worse, what if I did something wrong and embarassed myself? I mean, everyone knows HOW it's done. You see it on television and movies... and it's not really that hard to figure out, and of course, everyone has "practiced", but that's not the same.

Then to top it all off, when I told a select few friends I was going to go through with it, they started saying things that made me even more nervous. "It smells fishy", or "It's very messy", or something like that. If it smelled fishy, did that mean it tasted fishy, too? I wasn't sure I wanted to find out. But no, I might as well do it and get it over with. There must be something to it, most of the world does it.

So the time finally arrived and my friend appeared as though she was as nervous as I was. That was somewhat comforting. I remember being nervous right up until we started, and then I forgot all about my nervousness. We just enjoyed the moment. It was hard to tell from the noises who was enjoying it more, but I'll never forget it as long as I live. I remember as soon as it was over, I was ready to do it again, and so was she. I knew right then what I had been missing out on, and at that moment, I knew this was something I would be doing many more times in my life. It really isn't that hard to find a girl that is willing to do it with, if you know where to look and how to talk to them. If you've never experienced it, all I can say is, wow.

Ok, so that was the story of the first time I ate sushi. I guess I wrote about it because the sushi chef at the local place has been gone since this weekend, and they haven't found a replacement yet. I'm going into withdrawls. So, I... what? What do you think I was talking about? ;-)

      Just kidding, I'm familiar with the terminology. Plus I'm trying to woo LadyGuardian into my hot tub with my knowledge of hockey. Did I type that or just think it? Stupid no internal monologue! :-)

            Thank you for clarifying. I *was* doing double entendres already, and I will continue to do them as long as I can think of them, because "That's what I do!! It's *all* that I do!!" (Movie, please? Anyone? Hint: This is paraphrasing, not a direct quote.)

  • Reminding me of how good it feels to eat something that smells like fish. My first time was with two women, IIRC. I believe it was in Hong Kong. It's relatively easy to get a group of girls to go for it there.

    I love that stuff. It's one of the things I miss from having a job. There was a great place to get it near my old place of business, and it cost less than it did to get it downtown.
