TechnoLust's Journal: Slashchick coming to Atlanta this weekend.

If any of you ATLiens would like to meet the 2005 Slashdot Businesswoman of the Year, now's your chance! She's only here for a limited time, so we need to organize a meetup. I'm thinking Friday evening we could all meet for dinner somewhere in North Fulton County (Like Buckhead or Sandy Springs... If we go to the PF Chang's on near Perimeter Mall, we could probably even convince eglamkowski to leave the sanctity of his cube and meet some new people!) Anyone available and is Friday a good day for you?

Update: So far the plans are meetup at 7pm at PF Chang's near Perimeter Mall. SlashChick and I will be heading to see X-Men: The Last Stand at a nearby theater at 10:45, so we should be there for a little over 3 hours. That should give everyone enough time to eat and talk and make fun of eglamkowski. (Just kidding Ed!) I'm thinking we'll see the movie at Phipp's Plaza, because I can preorder the tickets for the theater there.

Oh, I forgot to mention. The parking lot by Brio and PF Chang's is about 75% reserved for vallet parking, so you guys might want to consider meeting elsewhere and carpooling to PF Chang's.

Prior plans have precedence in this case. If it were just me going to the movie alone I'd love to go out with you guys.. but I purchased almost $50 in movie tickets about 10 minutes before this journal was posted.

I was in Atlanta Wednesday through Sunday for a convention.
Too bad I didn't check my Slashdot messages early enough to participate... It would have been really cool to meet up. :-(
