TechnoLust's Journal: Job update... new short contract and some long-term leads...

I had a face to face interview today. It's a short term contract, but I think I'll like it. I start Monday. They said since it's a short term contract, if I need to leave in the middle of the day and go to an interview, that's cool with them. The thing that really stood out about it was that the stuff I write will be on the internet instead of a corporate intranet like everything else I've worked one. So when I'm interviewing later instead of trying to explain what I did on previous jobs, I can point them to the website and show them.

The fulltime job phone interview went well, I'm supposed to go in for a face to face interview sometime next week.

The 6 month contract phone interview was the same as the full time. Supposed to go in next week for a face to face. The only thing about it is that they were rushing me to interview saying they needed someone immediately and then postponed the face to face until next week after I arranged my schedule to be able to make it yesterday. That just doesn't sit well.

Brandy got a job too. She went to orientation today and she starts tomorrow.

I'm confused about Brandy. I thought somewhere I read that you're just friendly, but you seem to be living together as if she's your main squeeze.

We're just really close friends. We've been more in the past, so living with her is easy. She has a boyfriend, so she helps me pickup girls. Female friends make the BEST wingmen. ;-)
