Right to privacy of action? I never heard of that phrase but I obviously do. What good is privacy if it does cover action? Money is money. I don't claim it to be anything else. Public obligations? Of what sort?

If so, you should support tools that help you live a private life, free from oversight by governments and corporations. Privacy is effectively illegal today. Stories like this are part of your ongoing education to that fact.

Experience tells me most users are going to switch to another centralized platform because it's not YouTube and it's not Vimeo but they can put an end to this cycle by hosting videos on federated FOSS like PeerTube. Yes, those can go commercial as well but for the bigger concerns, it's not hard to setup an instance and host all of your own video.

Maybe they're going by user numbers? Hard to believe each of the poll options has more than a million users. Slashdot unfortunately is overrun with trolls so I tend to spend less time here than ever. Good question. The team behind it made lots of false promises and used the bitcoin.com domain name to attempt to get people to purchase it, thinking they were buying the genuine article. Here, with this article, the scam continues today. It has nothing to do with Bitcoin, and yet its material to FUD BTC.

This article is not about Bitcoin but about another scam with Bitcoin Cash, a fork which has attempted to muddy the waters and trade on the brand for years.

It's weird how all this concern about energy usage completely ignores the benefits of a decentralized, sovereign currency. Why do people willfully ignore the history of currency?

If businesses can have private security then why not anyone else? The question for me is what can these guards do? Are they allowed to arrest or otherwise place hands on anyone? Or do they just show up to livestream it to company servers for later production to law enforcement?
