I had a job interview on Tuesday.
And I didn't get the job!
It sounded like a miserable job. Performing the same test on hundreds of samples each day. Essentially a fourth of the responsibility that I have at my current job. But for $8/hr more than I make now, I would be nearly obligated to accept it.
But now I don't have to make that choice! Because they have "elected to go with another candidate" but were "very impressed" with me. That's HR speak for Some Woman gets to continue liking her job!
That, and I found out that I qualify as low-income, and, as such, can apply for health insurance through the state, which has better coverage in some regards than the insurance that I used to have. Back in the day.

They have something for everybody. The program I'm applying for (MN Care) is for low income adults without children and the premiums are based on income. You should really look around to see what Colorado offers.
