Journal Journal: Virgin Potty Talk

Even though they allow for high-volume servicing and back-in-a-flash trips to the john, the point-and-shoot-a-stinky-deodorizer-cake oddity known as the men's restroom urinal has been, for women, a constant enigma. But nothing will prepare you for the men's room in the newly-designed Virgin Airways Clubhouse in New York's John F. Kennedy airport, terminal 4: Urinals shaped like a woman's mouth, dolled up with red lipstick, wide open and ready for business. This is a story up on Yahoo, which confirms the world as we know it is almost over :P

Since /. never likes to post crap I submit, and they always pick someone who submits it after me, I post it here to prove they all hate me.

Journal Journal: How far will the DMCA go ?

Since /. doesn't feel this is an important article, I have decied to post it here. I sumitted it as a ask slasdot, but it was rejected. I doubt anyone will read it, but oh well.

Me and a friend of mine where joking around about the millions of cheats and aimbots for Counter Strike when we relized there is a serious problem brewing in the gaming industry. What happens if game makers start going after people who create cheats, run sites with cheats listed, or mod makers. Of course, companys like ID are smart enough to relize thats why most people buy there games. Its for the user created mods.

What would have happened when the orginal Doom was out and people started making the "Barney patchs" ? Would ID have gone after those people if the DMCA was around ?

Its a serious issue to think about if your creating a mod for a game engine produced by a "mod non-friendly" company. I know there are quite a few of those companys out there.
