If only people like yourself would actually read the material rather than just skim for confirmation bias. We would have never had a President Trump. Alas even in opposition to Trump you and many like you are revealed as the problem rather than the solution.

A simple read of Gorsuch's dissenting opinion shows how you are wrong.

Because it is. If you don't see it as partisan, that's a reflection on you.

The release of the memo and its creation is partisan but the situation that got us there is not which is my larger point. Maybe I should have clarified that point.

Personally, nobody supporting that shit gets my vote. I do wish that more people felt likewise.

My voting record speaks for itself in this regard. Please don't assume you understand my political inclinations from one internet comment. If you do then that is a reflection on you.

Submission + - Senator Warns YouTube Algorithm May Be Open To Manipulation By 'Bad Actors' (theguardian.com)

An anonymous reader writes: The top-ranking Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee has warned that YouTube’s powerful recommendation algorithm may be “optimizing for outrageous, salacious and often fraudulent content” or susceptible to “manipulation by bad actors, including foreign intelligence entities." Senator Mark Warner, of Virginia, made the stark warning after an investigation by the Guardian found that the Google-owned video platform was systematically promoting divisive and conspiratorial videos that were damaging to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in the months leading up to the 2016 election.

“Companies like YouTube have immense power and influence in shaping the media and content that users see,” Warner said. “I’ve been increasingly concerned that the recommendation engine algorithms behind platforms like YouTube are, at best, intrinsically flawed in optimising for outrageous, salacious and often fraudulent content.” He added: “At worst, they can be highly susceptible to gaming and manipulation by bad actors, including foreign intelligence entities.”

It wasn't. The Carter Page FISA warrant was approved before the dossier existed.

Where are these facts you believe are real?
Deputy Director Andrew McCabe admitted that most of the document is unsubstantiated and even confirmed that the dossier was the sole reason for the FISA warrant all before Congress. Seems that these facts are completely opposite of what you are saying. The memo just released also says you are wrong. I am open to see any sources you have though that run counter to ALL reporting on this issue.

Wow. Actually for people like myself who have great concern for the surveillance state that has been erected post 9-11 this is exactly what we feared. The secret surveillance state abused and being used as a political weapon in the name of national security all without any oversight by the people of the country. You seem to think that this whole thing is partisan which means you buy into the propaganda. That isn't surprising. The media has been spinning this as a partisan attack for some time. The reality is it speaks to how easy it is to abuse the great monstrous civil rights crushing system which people like Rand Paul and Ron Wyden have been fighting to prevent. Hopefully they seize on this moment to deliver a large blow against it although the President just signed worse legislation weeks ago.

Your post is misinformed speculation. This is what happens when you comment on something with limited information and ignorance of the facts. The "memo" was actually feedback about a diversity class. The attendees were asked for feedback and Damore provided the it in large and unnecessary quantities in my personal opinion. Someone who received it then propagated the document throughout the company.

Discharged as in released from service. So if you mean the policy is that they would allow trans people to volunteer in the military then discharge them then sure you are correct. However I imagine the shitstorm of discrimination cries would be insane. There is a list of physical conditions that prevent you from serving in the military including scoliosis and . What is the difference here?
Feel free to read up on them. http://www.military.com/join-a...
