It's not just powerbanks that have unnecessary features. Chargers are affected too: the new Anker Nano 45W (A121D) doesn't support AVS, and PPS is limited up to 16V (not 20, what most laptops want). But it has a smart interactive display... you could argue that the old version is better.

Regardless of what you think of VMware/Broadcom and the plentora of alternatives, doesn't the article suggest that the user is using VMware beyond their bought licenses (read: more cpu's etc.)? If so, how is this different than the typical Business Software Aliance visit when there is suspision of wrongdoing?

Heat pumps could obviously increase that, but if you start with only 30 degrees and you would need to go to 70 degrees, that is quite a leap. If you would accept temperatures less than 50 degrees, every home would need a dedicated heat pump.

It is very important to see that remote cooling is what this datacenter needs. Hence, for publicity reason claiming it is an "offering" is the opposite of what actually happens: cooling paid for via clean water or other media.

This seems perfect for education. We give the students a Raspberry Pi, a breadboard, an SD card and an image. And we want to include some libraries on the image so they can play around with a couple of electronics components. This seems quite useful for that.

I have the feeling that these hardcovers are gifts. And like you said, if you buy it for yourself, you get the paperback because they're actually more compact, lighter etc.
