Short Circuit's Journal: Rosetta Code -- The Rosetta Stone of Programming

I'm excited to announce the opening of Rosetta Code, a wiki with the lofty goal of being the Rosetta Stone of programming. Rosetta Code takes the intent of Hello World--showing a simple programming task in the author's language of choice--and applies it to a variety of programming tasks.

Special thanks go to a number of Slashdotters who've helped me build and refine the site over the last week, by way of my SLashdot Journal.

I always thought it meant "Zoh my god!" and was a Hebrew incantation.

Yeah, this was what I originally was going to call Goodbye WOrld. Rosetta Code, as a name, has more subtle meaning. :)
