This type of aircraft had millions of flights without a single lethal accident.
Boeing is not doing everything well, but this particular aircraft is actually really really safe.

Also, a later discussion mentioned that if the tarmac is really hot, which it was on a 40-ish degree day, the tyres also get really hot, and the landing gear is left extended a bit longer after take-off to give it a chance to cool down before it is retracted. That may also have played a role here, although it could not have caused the crash.

A few countries that are typically associated with world hunger are now kicking out if not genociding their citizens who actually know about farming, are able to make long term planning, and can provide food for a country. Starvation follows.
