It's not accurate that you don't see plastic bottles or cans in the trash in Germany; you just see homeless people digging through the trash trying to make a bit of money, mostly to buy drugs.

And that's what nationalism looks like in 2022.
Germany is an abusive country to both its own citizens and the rest of the EU (a new name for the infamous regime that tried to take over Europe's economy in the past).
If it's destroying the economy or screwing up with electricity, assuring many people in the EU will get sick and/or die during the winter.
But good propaganda work will mean some docile dogs will go on slashdot to fool themselves, by fooling others, that Germany is so great, probably better than everyone else.
Where have I heard that before..?

Where the hell do you live that any of the infrastructure used for internet access was paid for by a government?
That's clearly not the case in the US, and definitely not in the EU (where I live, and only got fiber about a year ago, infrastructure paid for by several very private companies).

Hospitals and roads aren't that expensive, either, and covid really should have reminded us how little our governments spend on healthcare.
Especially if you're unfortunate enough to live in the US and stupid enough to not understand what's going on around you.

Ukraine didn't officially join NATO, to not officially piss Russia off, or break the agreement made in 1991 (I think?).
But besides the official stuff, Ukraine has become a NATO member over the years.
They received plenty of money, military equipment, and military training.
Their surrounding NATO member countries also seemed to have geared up accordingly.
Obviously the US has been trying to pressure Russia, so it's not really fair to say it was unprovoked.

Full-disclosure: I'm not American, Ukrainian, or Russian.
Just not an idiot who reaches quick conclusions based on lack of knowledge like so many here...
Like the OP suggested, your opinions are very much irrelevant.

Right, all of you are missing the point about USB.
So, most internal applications are web apps these days because they're easier and quicker to develop and more or less work everywhere (screw you, Java).
Some of them require additional security, e.g., a USB dongle to authenticate and authorize you to the web app.
It does not mean that the browser should be able to read/write anything from any USB device at any time.
Ffs, your browser has access to your mic and webcam, what hardware separation are you talking about, and quite frankly, what the hell are you on?
I think what you're looking for is probably Gopher...

You're also a nationalist like EU members always have been, and like the EU actually is, a nicer name for Nazi Germany.
A union my ass, by definition what you're saying is "oh they can't enslave Bulgarian/Romanians/Spanish/Portugese/Irish anymore? What a bunch of primitive idiots, they should have zero moral values like Ze Germanz".
Screw the EU and any idiot who blindly supports it like Ze Germans supported Hitler, the Spanish Franco, and the Italians Mussolini.

I also live in the EU. A more honest version is that it's not a union, it's a way for Germany to e.g., exploit Spain's economy, exporting their e.g., seafood to Japan and China.
What a sick twisted version of a "union" that only true assholes such as yourself can support

Humanity existed just fine for dozens of thousands of years, without laws, or quite specifically, money.
Any issues that you're worried about, like being murdered, are directly related to the unfortunate psychological issues that people are facing with, thanks to money and laws.
Both exist in order to provide an unfair advantage to a specific and very small group of people.
Screw you for supporting any of that.
