With Internet Time they changed the time line to BMT = Biel Mean Time. (yes it is GMT+1, UTC+1, CET)
Biel/Bienne is in the middle of the watch region of Switzerland and it sits on the border of the Swiss German and French speaking parts of Switzerland, its a bilingual town.
So it is Swiss based.

And really . . . it will be the last clock change we would ever need as all clocks worldwide will be synchronized.
It just that your working day start time will vary depending on where you are in the world, but clocks will never have to be adjusted again.

A huge change to everyone but I think the benefits will make it worth while.

If that is the case I guess I will work till I die.
I cant wait until I retire and start doing all the things I really love doing.
Not that I dont enjoy what I do now at work but I am building a machine that is not for me.
I want to pursue MY interests, not my corporations. But my corporations interests also interest me to a certain extent.
I do consider myself lucky to have a job I love . . . . but in retirement I will be able to wallow in my hobby bliss.

KDE Releases KDevelop 4.6 93

New submitter KDE Community writes that the KDE project has released KDevelop 4.6.0 as the latest version of the free and open source integrated development environment. "KDevelop 4.6.0 improves debugging support with GDB. The GDB integration improvements include some operations now going into effect immediately rather than needing to re-run the program, improved debugging from external terminals, and a CPU registers toolview. KDevelopers' CPU registers toolview also allows for showing and editing all user-mode registers and general purpose flags for x86/x86_64/ARMv7 platforms. Other KDevelop 4.6.0 changes include greater language support within the PHP plug-in, Python language support improvements, more C++11 language support, improved project management, and a clean-up to the IDE's user-interface."

She had 2 handguns, completely reasonable for self defense. A standard .223 carbine... standard rifle you can get at walmart, fun to shoot and then a shotgun, pretty typical for hunting small game.

You do realise that to most people in most parts of the civilized/first world, this sounds completely insane, right?

Two handguns for self defence? Insane. Guess what I have for self-defence in the first world country where I live? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even a bat or knife. Times I have been violently murdered or robbed so far: 0.

A "standard" .223 carbine... that you can buy at a neighbourhood variety store. Insane.

A shotgun, "pretty typical for hunting small game". Insane.

Even more insane, though, is this idea that your hobby/paranoia (which are the two reasons you implicitly think people should have guns) outweighs other people's safety.

Where I live, you actually don't see guns, other than small handguns, in holsters, carried by the police. That's it.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Guns just make people way more effective at killing each other. That's what they are for. Take up archery, buy a can of mace, and stop being so completely ridiculous about your weapon-infested society.

Autistic? You really are an asshole.

I think we should file a petition to shut you up. Not because you've done anything illegal, no, just because you're an asshole.

Seem fair?People shouldn't have to deal with you making fun of autists, as people and families are crippled by the condition every day.
