This. The tax is anticompetitive, UK should have put an end to it. It doesn't cost anywhere near 30% to host an apk and run it through automated filters. App stores should not run on a percentage model but a flat usage model (ex: pay for apk bandwidth like on AWS). Customers are stuck paying the bloated hidden tax.
