Also, I've seen this story floating around for a few days now. I never would have thought to jump down (or that there was enough room).

I have to say I'm not sure I'd be quite as willing to put my own life at risk to save someone else as Mr. Autrey was.

Then again given his experience working in confined spaces perhaps he didn't feel he was taking that much of a risk.

Yea, I think that is part of it. I'm much more likely to "step up" if my mind is in the proper place, but Murphy says that isn't going to necessarily be the case.

I didn't RTFA but if you live in the NY/NJ area you've heard about this and more likely than not heard this guy interviewed.

For a man who is in the spotlight he's incredibly humble, or at least that's the impression I've gotten from the couple interviews I've heard him give.
