Journal Red Warrior's Journal: Nothing to see here, go about your business 3

198.2

Actually, one measurement (today) of 197.0, but I think that was dehydration talking.

Latest trivial annoyance: Cardio machines that have timers that max out at 60 minutes.

It would seem that I am getting my son a Bichon/Shihtzu with pedigree/papers and all for Christmas. Here's hoping my X actually continues live in the house she (and the bank) bought - or at least moves to another. It about broke my son's heart when he had to get rid of CJ, his first dog. And *I* don't want a dog. Yeah, I'd probably take it, but I wouldn't like it.

  • I had a shih tzu named mileu, it was the only dog my parents ever let me have. My dad *hated* dogs, but loved her. They are remarkable low maintenance, and if you want any papered toy dog for cheap, go online and find a toy rescue, you can get them (trained and vetted, too, in many cases) for $0-$125, considerably cheaper than a purebred puppy, vet costs, and training costs etc.

Hmm it could be that I am jealous and *I* really want a shih tzu for xmas :P

  • I used to go to a gym with preset times on the cardio machines. However, there was a secret series of buttons you could press to change the time. I wonder if these machines have a similar code and if it might be in an online manual.
  • *scene: Beavis and Butthead at the SPCA, looking at dogs.*

Butthead (walking past cages, peering into each one): Hmm... wuss... wuss... wuss... shihtzu... wuss...
Beavis (had been following, abruptly stops): Shihtzu? Heh-heh, SHIHTZU. Heh-heh.
    Shihtzu
