Journal Journal: Is Digital Media to Blame for Problems
About the video games true there are some pointless games out there, but as I stated earlier in one of my blogs that I titled "What is Life Coming to?" speaks about that. Let me just restate it is not the game designers fault that the person is unstable, most likely there lays more problems in the chemistry of the individual's brain then anything else. Anyhow some games I've noticed teach valuable morals; I find that the RPG (Role Playing Game) have easier to spot morals then others. I'm not so sure what I can say about games such as Grand Theft Auto as having morals but then again I never played it nor want to as it appears to have no story line what so ever so I'll just stay off that. But they never say in that game that it is a legal or fun thing to do in real life. Anyhow back to the point most games that have a story line no matter how horrid it may be usually may have some meaning or moral in there.
Here are some examples. In the game The Legend of Dragoon which is an RPG one of the main focuses is that revenge solves nothing; instead of looking to the past and its bad events look to the future to the brighter stuff. Final Fantasy VII proved that teamwork is the best way to go. Both games show that anything is possible to achieve if you put your mind to it and work hard. Yes even if it seems imposable it all will pay off.
