That's the thing: they don't get sorted as SPAM, they get sorted as "Unknown Sender" (and you don't get a notification) – because they are. And they are afraid nobody will look there unless they expect a SMS from an unknown sender. https://9to5mac.com/2025/07/03...

Let's not ignore the fact that workforce is more flexible in China to react to the seasonality of iPhone sales. Apple introduces their iPhones (but one model) on one day, and sell much more of them in the few months following than later - and they need to stock them to answer demand. So they need to make more iPhones, and need more workers in the weeks before that day than during the rest of the year. In China or India or Vietnam - no problem. Could somebody hire a couple of ten-thousand workers for a few weeks in the US?
