Journal October_30th's Journal: Women were made for homemaking 12

Ah, so now I know better...

Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker.

So, guys, if you haven't bought a Deluxe Gas Princess stove for your wife to slave over, you've better get going. The power of Christ compels you!

Edit: Check out the word of warning from Dr. Franklin and the hilarious Bazooka Jesus, too.

Or embarassing dumbass men by being able to deadlift more than they can ;-)

  • Why Apple is evil [jesussave.us] (shamelessly lifted from sillypixie's 'bio')
  • It's blocked at work. The bazooka Jesus pic is categoried as "Sex". I'm not sure I want to know who thought that up.
    • Ahaha! Blocked? That's the funniest thing I've read in a few days!

It's a two frame cartoon titled "Bazooka Jesus (R)". Jesus is walking on water. His disciples ask him: "Hey Jesus! Are you sandals wet?", to which he replies: "Noe! They're water moccasins!" (everybody smiles)

    • The filename is: bazookajesuslarge.jpg so my guess is basically any image filename with "large" (or is it bazooka?) in it is banned :-) I wonder if you can see the large images here [apta.com] at the American Public Transportation Association (whatever the hell that is).
      • I can see those images. It appears that the entire domain jesussave.us is blocked.
        • It's just as well... The entire domain seems to have some wingnuts taking things and themselves way too seriously.

The stuff about Apple computers is just ludicrous and full of poorly-researched half-truths.

I want to like what they are saying, but instead I feel that they are simply a laughing stock.

I do believe and trust in my salvation through Jesus Christ, so I'm not being the Devil's advocate here. I did also think of handing out tracts at Halloween a few weeks back... I might still do it.
          • Are you sure it isn't parody in the spirit of Betty Bowers, Landover Baptist, or Whitehouse.org?
            • Actually, I'm not sure.

Landover Baptist did cross my mind as I was reading through it, but I think this site may actually be serious.

Either way, it paints Christianity in a not-so-great light IMO.
  • that Dr. Troy Franklin on the word of warning link looks like a scary halloween character himself! the bibled gnasher...or something like that :D
