I understand why you'd say that, the Internet is full of that crap. But I assure you, I have no vested interest in google. It's really the best subscription my family uses. I did mention we bought ad bundles with other services. It's funny how an ad in the middle of a show doesn't bother me (I don't watch many anyways), but when I'm watching a 10 min clip, an ad is like peeling skin.

Comment Funny thing... (Score 2) 48

We were trying to cut costs of the many subscription services our family has, so we asked everyone in our fam which service they used most and least. We unanimously agreed YT Premium could not be removed. We all watch it that much. I think 13.99 is a deal for the amount of time we watch it. If I could only have 1 service, that would be it. We ended up get bundles with ads of most other services some of us watch.

The newer CPUs are needed to keep up with the Windows 11 performance and bloatware. I'm sure 5-10 years ago MS didn't try to make everyone have a MS account so they can upload telemetry at login and who knows what else they upload. I'm very sick of Windows 11, and its constant nagging for a MS account and TPM. Maybe MS will do what no other OS company could do, they are going to beat themselves out of a market (one could hope). Most people use their phones now anyways.

"Jeep and related brands are a permanent fixture near the bottom." That is so true, sad, and hilarious! Yeah, I'm talking overall reliability. Why pay 6 digits for a brand that's known to fail. Only a failing brand would raise prices beyond their consumers (whoever they would be), then add the insult of ads in the dash board, thus why I think Stelantis should just shut it's doors.

I looked, this seemed to be the best site, but you're free to find others. It's a fair question. In the article they said the cap is between 65k and 110k, they stay for 6 years. Simple math: between 390,000 to 660,000 workers are currently on H1B. That's alot of competition when you are in a recession, heck that's alot when the economy is booming. Basically, that number will affect pay and jobs for U.S. citizens. And, a government's number one purpose is to provide safety and support/jobs for their people. A government is not created to provide jobs for foreigners. What planet are you from? Why do I want to pay taxes to give non citizens a job? That's just lunacy.

More BS so they can continue the H1B charade. I've seen plenty of people looking for work in IT. Between ghost jobs (which they need to pass legislation against but won't to make the job issue not look as bad), jobs that actually aren't real (the fake listings so they can say there isn't an American work available), and stupid come to work policies (yes Elon you dick), it's not a good job market unless your H1B.

Jeep makes the crappiest cars and charge so much for the joy of taking them into the shop. Why not ad junk advertisements to a junk brand? Stelantis just needs to shut their doors. I've seen prices for Jeeps that make laugh so hard at the fools that would pay it. But, they aren't sellling well, so I'm glad most consumers finally figured out those over-priced PoS are not worth it. I wish the U.S. could make a good car.
