Entercom, One of the USA's largest radio broadcasting companies has been hacked by Ransomware. It apprenly came in through a programming computer and has taken out their email and servers. All their radio stations have been affected. The ransomware people demanded half a million dollars to restore things; Entercom refused to pay.

Wi-LAN, another patent holding company, has sued 22 companies that make or sell wireless routers. Defandents include Belkin, Best Buy, Buffalo, Dell, HP and Lenovo.
"While we prefer to resolve patent infringement through business discussions, we have consistently maintained that litigation was always a possibility when negotiations do not result in a license within a reasonable time," Chief Executive Jim Skippen said in a statement.
