The problem with addiction treatment is that they have to want it. You can supply free housing, food, treatment, etc. But they're just going to do drugs in their new homes and they'll have more money for the dealers to get them more drugs. There's no amount of money you can throw at this and solve it. They're screwed until they can somehow stop the heroin, fentanyl etc.

In hindsight, it would have been better if Trump stated that it was stupid to think that it came from the lab. Although China would still be blocking investigation. Still, they need to experiment with reverse psychology. I'm pretty sure the left and right are both defenseless to it.

He knows that if he makes up a story that fits the narrative of the left leaning liberals that he'll get tons of support. But if you point that out, they'll mod you down. He has no proof. They can't find the host animals which would have backed him up. There's no proof of it originating from the lab, but China actively blocked that. There's no reason to block investigation since it would have proved their innocence, unless they weren't. It's not like they were worried about bio warfare being revealed, that's illegal. They have a history of lying about these kind of things.

Well stated. Although, there is the sock puppet problem that is used by those who are so politically aligned that their logic skills are atrophied.

Maybe it would be better to make it so that the moderation would only apply to others who thought along the same way as they did. It would encourage people to login so that their account would show more favorable moderation. This would make it so that the mideast trying to sabotage a list, would only do so for their own mindset.

It's strange that this post looks like it's under attack by moderators trying to label it as a troll post when it's clearly not. It makes me wonder if the Chinese government has multiple accounts here that actively try to down mod any posts they don't like.

I listen to audio books while driving, raking leaves, shoveling snow etc. A good voice actor narrator is a requirement, otherwise it ruins even the best books. It's even better with at least two voice actors, one male and one female. It gets weird sometimes when they try to mimic the opposite sex. Using audible for an example, Hyperion was really well done and has a cast of 5 voice actors. The voice actor who did Martin Silenus was amazing!

Airlink is not as easy to setup as it could be, but everyone I know got it to work. It recently came out of beta, so maybe it's different than when you tried before. You can also try "Virtual Desktop" which might work better for you. There are some good games, "Beat Saber"(with mods so you can download better songs), "Sparc VR"(It's like racquetball combined with dodgeball), Resident Evil 4, Half Life Alyx, Youtube 360 videos are cool in VR

I also have the Valve Index. The Index definitely looks better with higher resolution, better fov, and higher refresh rate, but it's tethered, which can be really annoying. So I bounce between the Q2 and the Index

It's not that difficult. There are a lot of young children playing with the Quest 2, especially after last Christmas. If you check out forums regarding Quest 2 VR, one of the biggest problems is little kids ruining games for the adults. There's also the problem that children on VR swear worse than sailors. No exaggeration!

Chess is a lot of fun! You might not enjoy it, but there's obviously a lot of chess players who love the game. It allows for different player styles, openings and middle game strategies are always evolving. Chess puzzles are also fun.
