The original post questions is the students are being hypocritical by making these claims. I think the answer is yes and no. Yes they most likely have downloaded songs and such. For one thats not proven so legally that has no bearing on the case. However more importantly if the law wont protect these students IP then what right does the law have to say they have to respect others IP? Just food for thought of me playing the devils advocate.
