The tsunami was a horrible horrifc event that won't soon be forgotten. And indeed, compared to WWI, WW2, plagues, it was not much. But like those great disasters and deaths that came before, the world will forget. Sure we know millions died in WWI, but it's approaching the realm of too far back in time. How will the world view WWI in another 100 years? A statistic, a question on a history exam.
