As far as I understand, they use Replit as a complete DevOps replacement. So it not only vibe codes it for you it also manages the application in production.

Though TFA wrote it as the "first airbus ever" the story is actually about the A340. The latter weighs about 3 times as much (40t vs 130t of typical operating empty weight) so having such a large thing land safely on ice is quite an achievement compared to previous airbus landings.

If there are/were direct-drive Diesel locomotives in operation anywhere, they were a niche. All Diesel locomotives are just portable generators that drive electric motors.
They may be the case where you're from. But in Europe especially in the former Eastern bloc there are still quite a lot of direct Diesel engines on the rails.
