If we can get real evolution in three years, I'd think we'd have flying sharks with lasers by now.

I don't understand the obsession with Israel. Israel is something like 0.3% of the land area of the Mideast and 2% of the population (not even all Jewish). If any country claims that Israel is some sort of road block to success it is just excuse making to cover for real bad leadership. At worst they are analogous to a wasp nest, just leave them the hell alone and build your damn societies per your interests.
